General ESTA Questions
ESTA
(Electronic System for Travel Authorization) is a mandatory
pre-screening requirement for travelers from Visa Waiver
Program countries visiting the United States for tourism,
business, or transit stays of 90 days or less.
No. US
Authorization Form is a private third-party service that
provides assistance with ESTA application preparation and
submission. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Government,
the Department of Homeland Security, or U.S. Customs and
Border Protection. Travelers can apply directly through the
official government website.
No, ESTA
cannot be extended. You must apply for a new ESTA when your
current one expires or if your passport expires.
Application Process
Processing
times are determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Most applications receive a response within 72 hours. In some
cases, additional review may be required. We recommend
applying at least three days before your intended departure.
If you
realize an error after submission, you will typically need to
submit a new application with the correct information. Minor
errors such as accommodation address may not require a new
application.
You will
need a valid e-Passport, your travel itinerary details,
accommodation information (if available), and employment
details. All information must match your passport exactly.
Passport & Eligibility
Your travel
authorization is linked directly to your passport. If your
passport expires, your authorization becomes invalid and you
must submit a new application with your renewed passport
details.
Yes. Every
traveler, regardless of age, must have their own individual
authorization. Parents or guardians may complete the
application on behalf of minors.
The ESTA
covers short business meetings, tourism, and transit through
the United States. It does not cover employment, academic
enrollment, or stays exceeding 90 days. For those purposes,
you must apply for a standard visa.
Fees & Refunds
No. The
government fee is non-refundable once submitted to U.S.
Customs and Border Protection, regardless of the application
outcome.
Service fee
refunds are available in cases of technical errors on our
part, duplicate charges, or if you cancel before we begin
processing your application. Refund requests must be
submitted within 14 days.
We offer
three processing tiers: Standard, Rush, and Super Rush. All
tiers include our full application assistance service — the
difference is in prioritized handling time.
