Refund Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Important: US Authorization Form is a private third-party service. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Government or any government agency.

Understanding Our Fee Structure

When you use our service, your payment includes two separate components:

  • Government fee: This is the official ESTA application fee charged by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This fee is paid directly to the U.S. government as part of the application process and is non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the government system.
  • Service fee (varies by processing option): This is the fee charged by US Authorization Form for our application assistance service, which includes form preparation, application review, error-checking, submission support, and email-based customer service.

When a Service Fee Refund May Be Issued

You may be eligible for a refund of the service fee (not the government fee) under the following specific conditions:

  • A verified technical error on our platform prevented your application from being submitted to the government system.
  • You were charged more than once for the same application due to a confirmed system error.
  • You cancel your application before we have begun processing or submitting it to the government system.

When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds of the service fee are not available in the following situations:

  • Your ESTA application has already been submitted to the government system, regardless of the outcome (approved, denied, or pending).
  • Your application was denied by U.S. authorities. We do not control or influence government decisions.
  • You changed your travel plans after your application was submitted.
  • You provided incorrect information that led to a denial.

Government Fee Refunds

The government fee is collected on behalf of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Once submitted, this fee is non-refundable. This is a U.S. government policy that applies regardless of whether you use our service or apply directly.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund of the service fee, contact us within 14 days of your payment at [email protected]. Please include:

  • Your application reference number
  • The email address used during application

Refund Processing Timeline

We will review your refund request and respond within 5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval. The exact timing depends on your financial institution.
